He's crunk, he's foul-mouthed and (at times) misogynistic, and Lil' Jon makes an appearance on his album Mississippi: The Album. But listen more closely and you'll find that Banner's the intelligent crunkster, a man with some things to say ("Bush" is incendiary!) - and sometimes, not, such as on "Like A Pimp," which is a fine, dirty club-banger: "drop it like it's hot, girl, touch your fuckin' toes!" Ladies and gentlemen, 2003: the year crackas got crunk.
