if only for this -
"For me, Björk's best hovers up there with Kate Bush's Hounds of Love, Kraftwerk's "Computer Love", or the existential romances of Scott Walker's four solo records from the late sixties, all examples of the pop text loosening its moorings, bursting out of the confines of the pop structure while still leaving vestigial tracings of popular/populist mainframes."
- I'd have to add the astronauts' notepad to the blogroll. but as you might guess from that one sentence, jon's entire blog is made up of spiderweb-like beauty like that; his writing brings to mind marcello, especially, at the same time its own beast. the astronauts' notepad is mbv's "soon" cranked through html code.
