in the patting-my-team-on-the-back category, I must quote andy katz in this week's weekly watch:
"Caught Our Eye: Outside the Top 25: The Boilermakers are right behind Louisville as the best surprise stories of the season. And guess which team beat the Cardinals? The Boilermakers. Gene Keady has pulled off the improbable with an amazing turnaround -- from a doormat last season to the Big Ten leaders into February. Purdue bounced back from a loss at Illinois to beat Indiana, Ohio State and win at Iowa last week. Purdue is getting go-to play out of Willie Deane and appears to have solved any scoring issues from a year ago. This might be Keady's best coaching job in a year that had once looked like could be his last on the bench. He's not going anywhere with this kind of success story."
any questions?
