now prepare to hunker down with the remote for some killer games saturday and sunday (and, if you have it, espnews, for constant score updates).
+saturday's agenda includes the possible answers to some intriguing questions. such as, can uconn, still without calhoun, bounce back from their humiliation at va tech (at providence)? can florida bounce back from their "we didn't really want the top ranking, anyway" humiliation at kentucky (hosting 'bama)? can anyone beat kentucky (at ole miss)? is this really purdue's year (at minnesota)? can butler keep their domination of the horizon league up (hosting illinois-chicago)? which ohio a-10 team is superior this year: dayton or (at) xavier? will indiana really drop their fifth in a row (hosting michigan state)? and who's gonna crack in the mountain west (byu at wyoming)?
+on sunday, we learn whose team is wobblier, bobby's or quinn's (texas tech at missouri), and if notre dame really understands the term "payback" (hosting pittsburgh). there's also a pair of non-conference dandies involving c-usa teams: wake forest at marquette (I say wake, narrowly) and oklahoma state at cincinnati (oh, please - this is not nick van exel's cincy squad).

and I know I'm late on this one, but I have to ask: will the real virginia team please stand up, please stand up? the cavs get their second road win of the season at maryland?!?! wow. I still say all this parity is good for the game. this year's big dance could be the best in many years, y'all. only 5 weeks 'til selection sunday!
