Oh, Manchester, So Much To Answer For

So, I saw X2 tonight, and was shockingly impressed. I don't know anything about comic books, and I loved it. Not only was it full of cool stuff and effects, but the plot was actually compelling; you care about these characters. And Hugh Jackman in full leathers? Woof! Definitely worth seeing.

Addendum: the whole "Mom, Dad, I'm a mutant" thread is an excellent, and I think intentional, allegory for being gay.
