Last year, 3 of the albums on my Pazz & Jop ballot placed in the top 40. This year, it's just one, albeit the #1. (As ever, my singles selections are somewhat more in tune with the general electorate.) Here's how my ballot stacks up in relation to the results:

1. Billy Corgan - TheFutureEmbrace (#269, 4 mentions)
2. Lee Ann Womack - There's More Where That Came From (#56, 23)
3. Kanye West - Late Registration (#1, 227)
4. Alan Braxe & Friends - The Upper Cuts (#339, 4)
5. Bobby Bare - The Moon Was Blue (#165, 9)
6. Los Super 7 - Heard It On the X (#217, 8)
7. Kraftwerk - Minimum-Maximum (#164, 8)
8. Trisha Yearwood - Jasper County (#1773, 1 MENTION)*

2. Snoop Dogg - "Let's Get Blown" (#314, 2)
3. Snoop Dogg featuring Uncle Charlie Wilson and Justin Timberlake - "Signs" (#183, 4)

9. Kelly Clarkson - "Since U Been Gone" (#3, 127)
10. Rev Run - "Mind on the Road" (#314, 2)

*In my three years as a P&J voter, this is the first time that I've been the only voter for any given album.
**The original version of "Don't Cha" placed 48th (14); amazingly, one other voter specified this remix.
