really like your '78; almost picked it myself. '86 is spot on as well, but i was limiting myself to one per artist. (in retrospect, i could have gone w/ "did it in a minute" for '81 and then "kiss" for '86). '97 : right fucking on. i'm tempted to change. close on '99 & '01.
 
Pleasantly surprised by '99 and '87 (something tells me that of all Janet's stuff, that one holds up best), love many of the others, and am genuinely curious about a few: '82, '81, and '78 especially. I like to brag that that's "my era" and I swear I've never heard any of those (MAYBE Hall & Oates and I just don't recall). What pray tell was Linda Ronstadt up to in '82? I'll have to track those down.
