Oh, Manchester, So Much To Answer For

I know that BBC Radio 2 is ostensibly an Adult Contemporary sort of station, but that's a vastly different "format" in the UK than in the US, apparently. Seeing as how at this moment, which is during afternoon drivetime (circa 5:20pm) in the UK, I'm listening to Stuart Maconie spin "French Kissin' in the USA" by Debbie Harry. The word, I believe, is gobsmacked.
