Toby Keith - "A Little Too Late"

His best single in years. Gorgeous countrypolitan strings (he would've been a great artist in the late '60s - or anytime in the '70s, for that matter [cf. Waylon]) perfectly omplement one of his strongest vocals ever. (He's a much better singer than he gets credit for.) It's a strummy-guitar song about a breakup, but it's not snarky like Toby usually likes to be (except when singing about the U.S./military, natch), but instead heartfelt and a little sad. It suits him, maybe better than he knows.
