Joan Jett & the Blackhearts - "I Love Rock 'n Roll" (Boardwalk 1982)
This spent seven weeks at #1, which boggles my mind. (Rust-belt rock was very big in the early '80s.) Frankly, it sounds nearly as fresh today as it did 25 years ago.
